Animation Project
Children's Services staff, digital artists and WSCB Young People's Panel worked as a creative team to create an animation promoting the value of young people being at the centre of their child protection meetings.
The team looked at how, using animation young people can prepare themselves for and be informed and reassured about their child protection meetings and how their ideas can make the whole process more ‘young person friendly’.
The DVD will be made available to all looked after young people in Worcestershire in advance of their child protection meetings. It will also be shared with professionals from Health, Education and Social Care settings as an information resource for experienced Child Protection professionals.
