NHS Worcestershire Volunteer Celebration
Volunteers bring tremendous value in a variety of roles that improving the patient experience and support the development of a patient led service. Some of these roles, such as fundraising pre-date the NHS; other roles reflect newer developments, but of all these diverse activities involve individuals giving freely of their time to help people and support the NHS enhancing a shared ownership of the organisation in the process.
This short film provides a platform for volunteers to share their experience and talk about their role and the positive impacts of volunteering. Hearing their inspirational stories and anecdotes provides a real insight into the benefits of volunteering and will hopefully encourage more people to consider volunteering,
