YOUNG PEOPLE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION SHARE THEIR CAREER ASPIRATIONS
Young people attending special schools have the same dreams and aspirations as any other young person, they may want to be bakers, police officers, recording engineers, premiership managers or run their own business.
How, within 21st century learning environments, extended services provision and careers guidance do we respond to these aspirations and to the challenges, real or imagined, that young people may encounter as they aspire to turn their dreams for the future into a reality?
Arts Extend is helping to raise awareness of these important issues with Clancy Radley (Youth Worker) on a consultation project at Regency High School. The outcomes were presented as part of a recent conference organised by Sandy Bannister at County Hall in Worcester.
