Young people of Wickhamford get the chance to produce a fictional and creative piece of moving image
A very practical, hands-on and enjoyable multimedia experience at the Ourside Youth Centre in Bengeworth
Bredon playing fields inspired happy snappers in this creative community project.
This creative community project can look forward to a bright future after being given permission to stay for good.
An exciting project aimed at offering young people in areas of Wychavon the opportunity to take part in film making and photography workshops.
A dynamic partnership of community service providers have worked together to respond to young people's needs in rural Worcestershire.
Bredon playing fields inspired new work from amateur photographers when they took part in a workshop designed to encoutrage them to think differently about recreational spaces. Working alongside two professional photographers, people of all ages enjoyed exploring their surroundings with a whole new mindset and a different outlook on their environment.
Looking through a lens, they were amazed by how much they noticed. They surprised themselves with their creative responses to various challenges as they discovered previously 'unseen' textures, patterns and colours, compositions, angles and of course subjects.
The group also had a chance to use top quality professional studio equipment and shoot (as well as star in!) a studio portrait photograph.
“Thank you very much. We had a great day and enjoyed looking at the results. Our son is intending to submit one of the photos he took into a local competition.” - Charlotte
